Foltin Ltd. was established in 1989 as a family business and in its beginnings was dedicated to wholesale and retail trade of different kind of foodstuffs. Afterwards we gradually changed our company profile to direct importation from foreign manufacturers. Foltin Globe Ltd. was founded in 1997. Its operation is based on the exclusive distribution contracts, which were drawn up with the foreign suppliers.
Our activites
We represent 17 outlandish producer with sole distribution right on the Hungarian market, which includes the distribution of their brands as well as the sales of private label items, which were created to KA clients.

We focus on our customers’ needs and we feel to be very flexible in adapting the changes of demand and reacting on the challenges of our market. Our main objective is to meet our customers’ satisfaction by offering them quality products at reasonable prices. We own two premises of 22000 m2 in Budapest, which includes office building, warehouses and cold storage. Our storing capacity is 6000 pallets’ place, which we store up to the modernistic warehousing circumstances on the basis of FIFO principle.
Sales structure
Our assortment consists of more than 250 articles, which are supplied mainly to multinational chain stores. Our KA clients are TESCO, AUCHAN, PLUS, PROVERA GROUP, SPAR, INTERSPAR, KAISER’S, METRO, REÁL, COOP, CBA, PENNY MARKET, BÉE etc, however we are also very happy about our fruitful cooperation with regional chains, wholesalers and traditional trade units all over the country. Our distribution covers the whole territory of our country; our sales representatives visit our partners on regular basis.
Quality assurance
Our company acquired certificates and launched ISO and HACCP systems in 2001. Our most important goal is to provide high level of services to our customers, and get admitted to their confidence by offering continuous, stable, trustworthy partnership.
